Proper Storage of Tea
Tea is best stored at room temperature in an air tight, moisture free environment. You should not store tea in the freezer or refrigerator since the tea will absorb the moisture and cause your tea to begin it's steeping process. Air tight tea tins can keep your tea fresh for over a year, while lined, loose tea bags keep your tea fresh for only about 3 months.
